S3-compatible storage refers to third-party storage systems that implement Amazon S3’s APIs, enabling seamless interoperability with tools and applications built for S3. For example, MinIO, Wasabi, or Backblaze.

To configure an S3-compatible storage destination:

  • In Bucket, enter the bucket name. For more information on bucket properties in Amazon S3, see the Amazon documentation.
  • In Hostname, specify the hostname.
  • In Region, select the bucket region. For more information on bucket properties in Amazon S3, see the Amazon documentation.
  • Optional: In Format, specify the format in which Axiom sends data to the destination.
